Chameleon is a fearless exploration of life as a newly diagnosed autistic woman, based on the personal experiences of its autistic writer-director Jess Telling.

Chameleon follows its heroine as she plunges headfirst into an identity crisis and questions whether her all-consuming relationship is worth losing herself.

Ruby

Directed as part of Offcut Festival 2025 at 53Two, Manchester

Ruby is a normal person dealing with normal problems. Getting fired from her job, dealing with a breakup, and getting haunted by a ghost and trying to convince everyone she’s not crazy - of course.

A pair of black hands with long nails holding a large, red, diamond-shaped gemstone with the word 'RUBY' written in white, distressed font on it. The background is grey. The top has the title 'OFFCUT' in bold white and blue letters, and the bottom lists credits with names and roles.

What You Deserve

Directed and written as part of University of Manchester’s ‘Shorts Festival’, 2023.

Elm - a 22-year old filled with regret. Reed - a judgemental ethereal being. Stuck together in the waiting room between Earth and the afterlife, Elm has no choice but to listen as Reed dissects every one of their decisions. A question stands out among the rest – is this what you deserve?
